Effective Citizenship Project

  1. You did a nice job on your poster. Your EC project was a great idea. It combines what we learned over the past 8 weeks and ends with a Mother's Day present. Such a great way to teach children about waste, recycling and growing plants.

  2. I really enjoy how you don’t just read off your poster slide. I enjoy how you have things broken up, it is easy to read however I would suggest bullet points to loosen up statements as most people don’t tend to read in paragraphs when looking at a poster. I also could have used more background info as to what the sustainability topic is addressing and the potting of flowers would have been your take on becoming sustainable. Overall great project on teaching young ones the importance of reusing and repurposing.

  3. This was an excellent project. I know we used this as part of our group project as well. We saw how damaging waste, especially plastic, can be. Your use of color and imaginary with several pictures is great. You can tell how deep you got into this project. The best way we’re going to solve our waste problem is teaching the younger generation that it is wrong and ways to change it. Small steps can make a difference in several years to come. Great presentation.

  4. I think you did a great job including pictures from your actual project. It makes the project seem so real and to the heart. I love that you chose to teach our youth about the recycle symbol, how to reuse, and how to plant a flower. I bet most of the kids went home and couldn't wait to tell their family members what they got to do at school. As a suggestion, I would recommend shortening your title down. It looks more like a sentence versus a title. Overall, I really enjoyed your project and I think you are doing an awesome job teaching our youth about recycling because they are the future!
